Hello there and welcome to my foray into the world wide web…

Although I’m not new to the internet, I am somewhat new to blogging. My goal is to keep this blog updated with interesting tips, tricks, and things I’ve picked up during my travels through cyberspace.

I’m just your average American male. I love beer, football, and making money. I thought to myself, what if I had more time to drink beer while watching football? What if I could make money while drinking and watching football? Is that even possible?

Well, it appears that it is actually possible. I’ve been looking into SEO (or search engine optimization). It’s quite complex, but nowadays if you want your business to succeed, your website has to rank at the top to be noticed.

If I can actually figure out how to get websites ranked at the top for all sorts of keywords, I know that there are people that will pay for that skill and knowledge. The beauty of the internet is that you can make it work for you while you are doing something else.

My ultimate goal is to document trials and tribulations and I hope to blog about my learning process. I would love to inspire others to learn something new. I feel like so many of us stop learning as soon as we are done with school. Complacency is evil. Being content in your job will never get you anywhere. Challenge yourself to learn new things and focus on helping others as you go.

Please feel free to comment on what you see. Check back every so often and see what I’ve published. If there is something that you want me to blog about, don’t hesitate to get in contact with me. There probably aren’t too many of you out there that are actually reading this right now, but I hope to have ┬ásome awesome followers sometime in the near future.

That’s about all for now.

Oh, check out some great college football catches from the 2013-14 season.

I could replay that video all day.
